We have CARPET AGAIN!  Hooray!!!!  I even felt the urge to make snow angels on the new flooring.

What summer would be complete without a little water balloon fight? 

The kids and their friends caught a frog or two (or twenty-five to be exact).

The girls got on a kinetic sand kick for a week or two. 

And finally, a couple of funny stories...

*Natalie (in all seriousness):   What is Labor Day again?  Is it that day where everyone gets off work besides police officers? 

*Scott was trying to convince me that he needed a smart phone.  He told me that many people his age have one already (and they all own dogs).   I said, "Who would you even call with a phone, Scott?"  Without missing a beat, he said, "Grandma!"
