In typical Natalie fashion, the birthDAY turned into her birthMONTH. That's okay- we like celebrating this special girl!
Her class was taking a week long field trip that was certainly not the highlight of the year. Couple that with having to wear a mask, and it wasn't the best way to spend a birthday. We gave her the option to stay home, and she debated so much. She wanted to...but was it the right thing? Would she miss anything important? She finally decided to just stay home for the day, and her teachers were so encouraging which helped her to feel much better about her choice. Kate's already making plans for October. We told her IF her class has a field trip that day and IF she has to wear a mask all day, THEN we can talk about it!:)Happy Birthday, Natalie!:)
