For the new year, we took Scout in for some grooming. She came home looking so cuddly and clean with a pink bandana for an added touch.
In less than 24 hours, Squeaky-clean Scout transformed back into Stinky-Scolded Scout. Bad dog!
Nothing like a rigged up game of basement basketball or Dogopoly to fill the days on winter break!
Both girls have started basketball, so they have been getting in some practice time no matter how cold it is outside!
Natalie scored 6 points in her opening game!
Kate participated in a cheer camp and did a performance at a high school game.
The girls were up to some sister-silliness the other day and somehow managed to break a lock on a bedroom door leaving it permanently locked. This of course happened right before Jon was heading into work so Jon put Scott on the job. Scott took apart the lock on his door to see how it was supposed to work and then was able to carefully repair the broken door! His Christmas tool kit has already paid for itself thanks to his helpful repairs!
Kate's testimony:
"When I was five, I prayed and asked Jesus to be the Lord of my life. I know that I am a sinner and believe that Jesus is my Savior. I want to be baptized because I want to show everyone that I follow Jesus."
