Natalie celebrated her 12th birthday recently! She had some sweet friends from school come home with us for a birthday scavenger hunt. It rained all day, so I scrambled all afternoon to convert the outside hunt to an indoor one. As I was finishing up though, the sun popped out. Thankfully, we were able to have it outside after-all, and now I have an indoor one pre-planned for a colder birthday in late October. :)
The teams had to be tied together for the first part of the hunt. Jon had originally been scheduled to be off, but we had to reschedule the party at the last minute so he had to work. Thankfully, his boss gave him the okay to come home for a bit to help with the scavenger hunt and to give the girls a muddy ride before going back in. We ended with a dinner at Olive Garden. So thankful for this wonderful group of girls and for a wonderful TWELVE year old daughter!
