A Story or Two and A Picture or Twelve

*The temps cooled briefly for a bit last week, and it got us all excited for the change of seasons.  The kids convinced me to get down their sleds, and they played with them for longer than I expected.   Scott has even started practicing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" again on the keyboard.  Today was back in the 90s, so perhaps we should keep the scarves and stockings tucked away for awhile longer.  :)
*It's not a good sign when you return home from a Meijer run (an hour's escape) and the first thing Scott says when I walk through the door is..."Daddy let us do this!"
*Some afternoons, Kate and I have been attempting to do a lovely workout DVD called "I Want Those Arms."  She has been using tiny cans of tomato paste for her weights.  She cracks me up each time she sets them down and says, "I'm getting tired.  I'm just gonna use my fistas."  (Kate's plural pronunciation for fists.  I can't bring myself to correct her.)  So...she uses her "fistas" for a minute or so, and then picks back up her heavy weights.  :)
*Kate's been soaking up some extra attention while Scott and Natalie are at school, but she is always so happy to have her playmates back when they return home.
